    Pregnant Molly Empty
PostSubject: Pregnant Molly   Pregnant Molly EmptyMon Apr 19, 2010 9:43 pm

We just purchased a molly that seems pregnant because her belly was big and more squared. Now that she is home she seems her belly has shrunk. We have not seen any fry either. she is in a floating breeder. I am not sure if she is even pregnant now and if i should let her out into the tank? Thanks

Molly's young will be of noticeable size and will swim right away and will be well developed. There can be up to 100 fry depending on the size of the molly. I would say you just got one that was overfed...I would just release her back into the tank.
