| Well in my experience plecos dont do well in Mbuna tanks. If you are going to put a pleco in BN would be a better choice, just make sure it is a larger one. Mbuna will keep the tank free of algae as they will eat it off of the tank where it grows. A better choice would be a few syno cats that stay small. They are pigs and will keep the food that falls to the bottom cleaned up. | |

| OBs and Reds will do fine together as long as you don't care if they inbreed. In other words, you would not be able to sell the offspring as pure Reds or OBs.

| Pellets...but on a side note I have never seen a Mbuna not eat anything thrown into the tank.....I would use pellets for larger Mbuna. | |

| ok i wouldnt call him a "larger" mbuna yet, but i think he's afraid of losing territory so he waits and very little food gets down to him so i will try some new foods | |

But i havent yet seen the dominant zebra try and take ou the bumble bee yet will have to watch them closer this weekend | |

| I would recommend getting several more Cichlids to add to the tank....Stocking just a few Mbuna is going to result in the most dominant fish likely killing everyone. You need more fish to spread around the aggression when stocking Mbuna Cichlids. | |
