| I have one beta splenda, one half splenda half royal crown and my one perfect specemen my full royal crown with perfect coloration, and perfect shape and size. I don't think he will get to 3 inches, where as my other two made it to about 5 inches and I may have to get them 5 gallon tanks each. I am ok with that. Once I find someone to build on to my room-about another 10x10 or better yet 15 x 15 x 15. | |

| These are my pride and Joy's. The Citron Crestest Cockatoo is Maggie, she was a surrender out of MO. We went and got her only to discover things that made her just as much a rescue as a surrender. Popeye, is the African Grey. He is a wordy bird and he sings this song- To the popeye theme- I'm Popeye the Wordy bird, I've learnt every single word. I won't eat my spinache, there's to much iron in it, I'm Popeye the wordy bird. We are still working on perfecting the song as he will take off all in his own direction some times. He can carry on intellegent conversations, and talks to me all day long most days. Today he has been very quiet. Then there is Olive Oil. (Oliver if it turns out to be a male.) This is the only bird that is not a rescue. He / She is the first baby bird i have owned in my life. Now I use to raise cockatiels, hand feed them and get to play with them until their new parents came and got them but they were not mine to keep even though they came from my male and female. Olive is learning to be a good talker but she is a little terd. She likes to cause drama to learn new words. In other words she wants to learn the bad words like OUCH Dang that hurt. Olive don't that hurts, Don't bite. Do you want me to spank you? (not that I would but I like to mess with them birds- I think it would be funny if they said it when the precher was here of something.) I threaten to wipe their beaks up with the floor. To beat the snot out of them. All sorts of good phrases. They haven't said one of them yet, but Popeye does go Ahhhhhhh that's not nice when I say them. He is my smart one. | |

| This is Sassy and Bear when they were puppies. I was told by the breeder Sassy would not be over 5 lbs. When I got to the vet the very next day she was 8lbs alread. She now weighs 15lbs to 20 lbs and is probably very close to 20 because of her allergy shots. Bear is my little lap dog. He only weigh's about 6 -7 lbs at most. I think he has lost weight since we switched foods and Mister won't let me keep him in my part of the house any more, and won't buy him little ceasers dog food. That's ok, I let them sleep with me. This wasn't possible until we put a doggy door in my room. We also have a doggy door in the front of the house so they can always do their business. The last one is of Bear showing of my bows I make and sell. | |

| Well that is what I have pictures of. Fish are to hard to take pictures of, but I might try later to at least try to take pictures of my tanks/set ups. I have to go pick up my Vitimen B 12 Injection and give it to myself this evening so I will try to remember to do it as soon as I can. Enjoy! | |

| my set ups - this is my 40 gallon tank (38 to be exact) these are my almost twins- one long one tall. top 15 gallon tetra bottom 14 gallon guppy and platy to the left you should see the first 3 gallon that houses my Royal crown-he might go in with my dano's This should be my 30 gallon Dano/glolite tank where I feel my royal crown would be happiest as he was there before and he liked swimming with other fish. I just worry because I had my females (4 of them) in my 40 with my live bearers and they killed $100 worth of them in two days. Then turned on each other. my last to 3 gallon tanks cared for by my parrot Maggie. Yeah right... but they are happy with their algea eater and their snail. | |

| Oh one more thing. The twin tanks, the one on top is kept child like as it is more for my neice who gave it to me. It was her tank and stand but they lost power and are sadly living in there camper, hooked to our power and to thier water until they lose that too. They asked if I would like another aquiarium and I said I would love to rescue/adopt it. I have added fish till it is to full and I know shame shame shame but some times it's just nice to be able to see the colors work with each other in a tank. I do need to get my tanks established as well as my neices is so that I can move her algea eater and loach (dwarf Pleco sometimes they are known as) I will try to take a picture of it and have you guys identify it. I haven't nailed it down. But I am sure it is a loach. I want to get a weather loach so I know I have to add another tank in the future. Hubby is totally against it, so I have to find someone on freecycle giving away a good sized aquarium with most all the equipment. And I have to find a place to put one of my parrots or I have to find a new home for my recliner-which I use for health reasons. I want another tank sooooooo bad! I want that weather loach. What fish would you recommend I put with a weather loach if I ever get another tank? | |

The three birds and I each have a different relationship but each just as close. Though there for a little while my Baby, Olive the green dudette we didn't think was going to work out with me at all, and we were all set to move her to my sons room. She was always bitting me and she still does but not like she did. She bit through my index finger nail bed to and through the skin underneath. In my thirthy some years of doing parrot rescue I have never had a bird do that and I have only worked with the worst of the worst birds. I also have these two great lap dogs, both AKC registered Yorkshire Terriors. One that falls with in the standards except the ears don't stand, and the second breaks every standard set for these dogs and could never show in the Dog Shows. She is 13 lbs over weight, and I couldn't tell you how much of the height standard she breaks but it is leaps and bounds. She tries to be a lap dog but no matter how hard she tries she can't fit in anyone's lap. She hangs over every where and weighs so much you don't want her there. It is so funny to see the two side by side and know they are both AKC registered and the same breed. My fish are my peace of mind. When my sister twist my words in my e mail and says if I write her back she will e mail everything I have ever said to every one on her mailing list and everyone will know what a BITCH I really am. So I said go for it and that is all I said and she re wrote a 4 page e mail I was suppose to have written and I got so many phone calls, I finally stopped answering them and e mails were just deleted and blocked. But I had my fish to keep me calm and I never once had my blood Pressure stayed, 80/60 never once fluctuated. So she accomplished nothing. Thank God for Fish, Dogs and Parrots, and my Daughter. | |

| Ooops my net addy is www.emogurl.net It's about if people can be emo so can pets and we have to keep that in mind when we get a dog with emotional issues or a parrot that plucks. I have worked with Avians for 30+ years and I have loved every second of it even when Wook bit through my lip and I needed stitches, when paulie bit my finger to the bone not once but four times before it even healed from the first time and I have scars to show for it all over my arms, legs, face, ears... but I don't care, because Every Animal I took in I took in knowing he / She needed someone who would take the time to show him that biting wasn't the solution it was the problem. I use a rewards for good behavor technic that is different than any I have seen before. I am now trying to put it in place to train my two stupid dogs (i SAW TO MANY CARTOONS) to be my working dogs for my handicap so that I can continue my work at the phone, in my home, and on line. | |

| I live about seven hours away from WV. I'm in south central Kentucky. If you look on the map i'm right on the Tennessee boarder. About 40 minutes north of Nashville. I'm still in the reading stage when it comes to getting a bird. I plan on doing a lot of reading. I originally wanted a quaker parrot, but for some reason they are illegal to own in Kentucky. I haven't found out why, seems silly but i'm sure they have their reasons. I plan on getting young birds that have been hand raised. There is a place just south of me that raise beautiful sun conures.(I'm reading up on them too) I'm still planning and need to do a lot more research before getting anything. I loved the site. Your photobucket pictures are awesome!!!! Your birds look healthy and happy. Sure not hard to see what a good job you are doing with them. | |
