    hey all sorry i havent posted in a while>anyone with fuelleborni ex? wonderin if a fuelleborni and trewavasae cross is considered a hybrid. also can i keep a group of 5 ( 1 four inch male s 3 inch females and 2 five inch females) in a 29 tall? if not can i downsize the group a little? just keep females? thanks in advance.

    Hybrid and yes can be kept in 29 but 40 preferebly.will be some increased aggression to the females.Need lots of hiding places.Loves to spawn on slate flat or slight angle.placement.73-74 degree water for optimal spawning. hope this helps ya! :gluk:

    Definitely would be considered a hybrid as they are two different species. As far as tank size a 40 is ok, its a little small in my opinion as fuelleborni can easily hit the 5 to 5 in mark in an aquarium.

    When I bred them I had 6 individuals (1m and 5F)in a 75 and the breeding was prolific. The male staked out one cave and that is where it all went down. Almost assembly line style.
