Put him in a jar of water, stick it in the freezer and check on him later. It just slows down the metabolism until he passes on.

Clove oil works well for any large fish that won't easily fit to be frozen.

As for Vodka, you don't need to get the stuff you'd actually drink. The $3 a half gallon stuff works just fine. Ya just end up smelling like a wino if ya get any on yourself. Wink

Since the question was what is the quickest way I would have to say a quick blow to the head with a blunt object. Since most people have a hard time doing that to a pet the other two options will work fine but i wouldn't call them quick.
