| -15° last night, and of course I'm on graveyards. -30° windchill. Lines frozen up all over the place, so of course I had to be out in it directing the thawing efforts. I'm still frozen after a good long hot shower. Can you say "POPSICLE". WYite | |

| Not cold over here. I hate the cold. I prefer a blistering hot day over a freezing cold day. | |

| Over last weekend we had some snow. It was very pretty but it made everyone drive like complete idiots. Rehydrated all that dried up stupidity on the roads.
The next day it was 60 and all the snow was gone. Kinda pretty while it lasted.
Nights have been cold out here since it's sort of windy, but during the day it's been just fine.

Okay, so I go from warming the car up in the winter when it's 0° before I can drive it, to cooling the car down in the summer when it's 120° before I can drive it. Six a one, half dozen the other, but I think I'll take the cold. I can add more layers of clothes, but I can only take so many layers off... Nice here the last three days, well into the fifties. Washed off a bunch of rocks and brought them in. I'm gonna back off my retentiveness and not boil them before I put them in my tanks. WYite

| No need to boil them I just soak mine in hot water and rinse, never had any problems! | |

| My wife knows I'm a little out there, but she loves me anyway. Alright, like I said, I didn't boil 'em. Skipped my entire routine with the bleach and everything. For one thing, there's probably a thousand pounds of rock there for all my tanks and I'm tired of delays. I rinsed 'em down with a hose since the weather was nice, and that was it. So, we'll see how it goes.

| The kids find rocks from where ever. All I've ever done is rinsed them off and tossed them into whatever tank they're going into. So long as it rinses mostly clear it's good enough and I've never had any problems with it. You'd be surprised how little 1000 pounds of rock is too depending on the type. There was a masonry company that donated 1500ish lbs of quartz stones a while back and the rocks only filled two 55g totes. When they said 1500lbs I was expecting something like a flat bed pickup filled. | |
