Hi all my name is mike.
I've been keeping fish for over a year now and like mostlycichlids I too keep mostly cichlids. I have 4 tanks up and running (boy the people at the power company love me!).
Heres a list of my tanks
72 gallon bow front with 3 Discus, 2 angels, 3 cory cats and 1 whip tail pleco.

55 gallon with 2 oscars 2 green terrors, 1 jack dempsey, 1 redhead cichlidand 1 common pleco. This tank is Way over stocked and Im in the process of buliding a 140 gallon plywood tank for them.

25 gallon with 1 jack dempsey. I use this as a grow out/QT tank.

Planted 10 gallon with 4 guppy fry.

Im on 2 other forums and over the past year I've been soaking up knowledge like a sponge so if anyones new to fish keeping and has a question feel free to ask Exclamation

Hey Mike glad you made it over. I just started the forum a month or so ago. It was currently hosted by another server but we had to move and I lost some members. I see you on AC a lot. If you know anyone who wants to come over have em sign up. Glad to have you! Nice collection you have already!

Thanks! All of the fish in my 55 are going in my DIY 135 gallon once its done. Once you get into bigger tanks/fish you are going to want to go bigger! Trust me I've gone from wanting a 1,500 gallon tank to owning my own LFS. Twisted Evil I think I have a problem Rolling Eyes . They make support groups for these things right? confused

Lmao, I think they do, maybe we should join using the buddy system/ 2 for 1 special! Question Exclamation Question
I was actually thinking of trying for a grant to open my own LFS, we have 2 "local" but are still a 30 min. drive & never have what you want, otherwise it's a 1 1/2 hour drive to petco.

Yeah I have 2 here in my town and with a 30 min drive I have 7. Im going to start it out of my house when I get one. There is a lack of well educated LFS in my state and I want to open one where people know what they are getting into when they buy a 2 inch oscar and within 3 month time it doubles in size and has eaten all there fish.
