OK lets get down to fish buisness...lol I've been lacking on my fish info and its time i stepped up some, (run part of my own fish sight so i get a little busy) So i'm reletivly new here and really not sure of whos who? Not who the moderators are but who has big tanks like mine and who keeps plants or who a little crazy like me and keeps some brackish fish as well...lol. I'll start with more about me..I've been keeping fish for what seems like ever but i'm mainly a big fresh waterpredator guy as you can see buy my pictures. I have the same trouble as everyone else with big tanks (that don't have over flows) and lots of fish. I'm running a FX5,Ehieme ProIII, Fluval 403, 2 Seio power heads on my 220. This is the price i pay for not getting my tanked drilled. I feed my fish high protien foods such as beef heart, fish, massivor delight and have trouble keeping the tank clear. LEARNED THE HARDWAY (LOST BREEDING PAIR OF MOTORO RAYS) us more charcoal and change it more often. I love to help out with others so feel free to ask question i've made alot of mistakes and have learned from them maybe you could to....lol I hope this explains more about me.

It's nice to meet you.
I have a 135 and a 49. I have threads with pictures of my tanks. I'm not in to monsters or predators(well not yet).
Would love to see pictures when you can post them.

Great to see another Canadian on the forum. I only have a 65 gallon community tank, but it keeps me out of trouble.

Sounds like you keep some cool fish.

I have a 75gal, 29gal, (2) 20gal and a 10gal. I keep mostly cichlids and a few small schooling fish. It's always nice to hear what other people have.

A 225, a 180, a 90, a 75, six 55s, a 37, two 33 longs, a 30, a 29, and a bunch of 20s and smaller. Have a coupla more holes to fill, it'll be around 50 tanks, not all up and running yet. More info on the status of my tanks and fish room is in my DIY thread, gonna devote a half dozen tanks to tropical frogs this time around. Been keepin' fish for 26 years, mainly cichlids, but I've dabbled in a bit of everything. I also enjoy catfish, non-cichlid Perciformes and brackish fish. I've bred around 60 species of cichlids and another 40 or more of this and that and everything else, from livebearers to danios to gobies to American flagfish. All told I've kept around 250 species over the years. Prefer HOBs for tanks 20 gallons or larger, and sponge or box filters for smaller tanks. I hate plastic plants. Tanks with a mish mash of species from around the world are nice, but not my thing. I'm a biotope kinda guy. Feeding is dependent on the species. Pretty much sums it up.
