| both the diaghrams ripped on the airpump. I can't find the spares i am dang sure i have somewhere. the fish are already starting to lose color and hang out near the top of the tank. It being sunday night the stares are closed so i can't go get another tell tomorrow.
Anyone have suggestions on what i can do to add o2 to the tank tell i can get the diaphrams or a new airpump?

| If you are using an HOB filter O2 levels should be OK. If not and you are using UGF or box type filters that run on air then you may have a small problem. I would take some tank water out and put it in a pale then slowly pour it back in. Gas exchange happen at the surface oxygen goes from the air to the water, and carbon dioxide goes from the water to the air. When water is disturbed, the gas exchange between the water and the air is increased. Carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere and more dissolved oxygen is taken by the water, so by pouring the water back in you disturb the surface. How are you filtering the tank? | |

| Do a water change maybe....If you have live plants throw a few in there temporarily. | |

| use a gravity fed canister filter. works better than the hob's i used to have and got rid of. donated them to someone else with a smaller tank so they are not on hand to hook up again temporarily. the plants are already in there have been all along. have also done a part water change now. i hope that works for the night. i also tested the water params to be sure. the ammonia shows a 0 an the nitrite is 0.3. ph is 7.6 but that is the ph of the city water unfortunately. | |

| All you need is something to get the water moving on the top to promote gas exchange. You could use a powerhead if you have one or even a small fan aimed at the top of the tank to get some ripples to form on the water. If you don't have those water changes are your best option. | |

| Most likely too late to be of help now, but all the Walmart's within an hour or so of me are all 24/7 and all of them have a small fish section.
The closest one has all the basics for fish keeping like tanks (in various sizes) heaters and pumps. It's by no means fancy impressive top of the line gear in fact if memory serves it's just Tetra and Aqua-Tech (Walmart's house brand), but I've had one of the Aqua-tech air pumps running for a few years now just fine.

| got a new airpump. everything is fine. lost the parrot cichlid thou. doesnt look like the airpump caused the problem with her seems she tried to eat something to big and choked. dang. thought the feeder minnows were small enough.
the walmart near me is open 24/7 but they don't carry that much fish stuff in this one. decorations and tanks but no airpumps, filters.
