| We got two wonderful kitties... there's Pok, who's my handsome silver tabby shorthair. He's now 4 years old, and is still just as naughty as the day we got him as a kitten! lol! He's not much of a people cat, but he's become calmer and more loving as he's getting older. He's very smart, very independent and his favourite past-time is hunting. Sadly his hunting days have been cut down drastically, as 5 days out of 7 we live in a flat in the middle of a city, so they have to be indoor cats while we're here. However, once a week, we set off to the house, which is 2.5 hours drive away, with Pok howlign his head off constantly to let us know how much he hates being in the car... lol! But boy is he happy hwne he gets to the house! He'll even have cuddles, as he's so excited to be able to come and go as he please. Then there's Baby-Girl, who's my beautiful little calico princess... we're not certain how old she is... but we think she'll turn 2 now after newyear. We had decided not to get any more cats due to Pok being very terriatorial... but fate had other plans... We were out at a boot sale in a town, and realised we'd run out of cash... went to go to the cash machin outside a shopping centre, but it was out of order, so had to venture inside the centre... and the first thing I see is two men kicking a small cat about! Cue me screaming my head off whilst running over scooping the poor little mite into my arms... and she's stayed with us ever since. We put up posters, but no-one seemed to be missing her. She's such a loving, trusting little kitty... the sweetest little thing ever. She loves to talk, and will sit and talk to me for hours. After the first 3 weeks where all she did was hiss at Pok (whom was so wonderful about BG entering the family, he never even bothered to look at her), she's still trying to befriend him, and Pok is still ignoring her! lol! Anyway... here's a few piccies of my gorgeous babies... all clickable for larger views. Baby-Girl: Pok: Together: | |

| Thank you guys... they're my little beauties (who's at the moment playing up-and-down-the-stairs whilst sounding like a herd of elephants).
My dream is to have many animals too... but for now it will have to wait... one day though... lol!

| In Maine that should be pretty easy to do Mike.
I'd love to have the farm for sale near my current house. I'd have a home for the 5 Aldabra Torts that I know of that are in desperate need of a home.

| I've never had chickens, I've kept ducks tho. I think ducks have far more personality than chickens. Be careful of the barn LFS idea tho. I know someone who lives down in S. Carolina that has a barn/art studio and it gets pretty cold in the winter. Maine gets stupid cold, or at least the part I have inlaws at anyhow. North of Bangor I think. Big empty field, awesome place to set up a fireworks show even if it was freezing and Thanksgiving. | |
