no clue about this fish, anybody else know anything? lfs has 2 and kinda hinted at me to buy one,(they know me well) but i wanna know a little about it first

I've never heard of them before and a quick search turns up very little information. A scientific name or possibly another common name may help.

Dang. How this one get lost.

I remember running across these guys in that fancy pleco book I won.

It's Red Tailed Sternella which may be why your searching wasn't showing much. Anyway, it's a L114 Pleco and also called a Leopard Cactus Pleco.

They're spiffy looking and according to the book they get 10 inches, they get little red bits to the tips of the fins. They're egg-nom-a-riffic, but it says you could keep one with calmer cichilds like angels, discus or other non aggressive fish.
