| Well, today me and my friend were gonna go to a stream back behind local park. Had a few fish. Maybe one or two small bass and some 5-6 inch fish I have no clue what they are. Well, his dad told us about a creek about 3 miles up the road. He said there where bream and bass. We took a 40 min walk looking for it. We found it and we though there was nothing at first. I saw my 3 signs of fish. 1.) Snakes, we saw 3 water mocassins in a small area. 2.) A TON! of minnows. 3.) Frogs
We found a bend in the creek that was 8' in diameter, 4' deep, roots on ones side, reeds on our side, and bream and bass. Biggest bass we saw was only 8", but this creek led out in to a pond somewhere. We caught 7 fish. 6 bream and a small 4" Bass. My friend didn't want to let the bass go though. We caught 3 eating size bream, and 3 small ones we let go into another creek closer to my house. We saw some fish, looked like a small 1' long gar to me as it lurked away after we accidently disturbed it. We are definatly going back, despite Mocassins. | |

| Sounds fun! Nice job catching fish. I would be careful with relocating fish though it is not always the best idea. It's best to let nature take its course with a little help from the DEP once in a while. | |

| its ok, creek we released them in doesnt lead into any where, its only source of water is a big hole that fills with rain water and drains into the creek | |

| So in the summer it dries up an the fish will die? That water has to go somewhere. I'm not trying to give you a hard time it's just something to learn from in the future. | |

| In the summer , the spot they are in only sinks down to about 2 ft deep, I have followed it on rainy days and its very swollen, and it leads into not even a centimeter of water. | |
