So I got another chunk of driftwood and it's being quite the bastard about sinking.

I have one other piece and I put that in the tank and it sunk like a rock.

I've tried boiling it and a few other things. I'd prefer to not have to glue or cable tie it to a rock to make sure it stays down. Anyone have any other ideas?
Type of wood to look out for since it doesn't ever sink?

Boiling it for a while does a good job of removing the tea color. Just it smells funny (like boiled wood, go figure) until it cools off again.
