So, the box turtle I got from saint last year laid eggs on the 10th. Seven of 'em. She's been alone since I got her, but I knew saint had her with a coupla males before he sent her my way. Did a little homework after the fact and found out that turtles can store sperm kinda like livebearers. So I set-up this incubator contraption outta a small rubber maid container 'bout a foot long w/ lid, a 10 gallon aquarium w/ versa-top, some slate and an aquarium heater. Workin' good. The temp is holdin' between 79° and 82°. Maybe I'll have baby box turtles. I know my daughter's really excited. The turtle was originally for her, but it's pretty much mine.

Sweet deal, that's pretty crazy they can use the sperm when the time is just right!

If you keep them at those temps you will get all males. Shooting for 84 will give you the variety pack. Smile
