| You have some beautiful kids. How old is Bingo? I've always enjoyed working with Congos.

| I got him from an elderly woman that didn't treat him right about 12 years ago.He was ,oh I don't know. I have his band in my drawer, should bring it to the vet so they can find his info, or can I do that myself? | |

| I would suggest checking with your vet, or your local cage bird society. Allot will depend on if it was captive bred or imported. Imports should have a government ID number showing that it was legally imported. If it was captive born, it may just have a breeder's ID band, which will be harder to trace if you don't know the breeders name. Good luck.

| Very nice. The large bird gives me the willies tho. I don't know what sort he is, but hopefully he's more sane than some of the parrots and cockatoos I've seen. | |

| Thank you everybody! Yes he is a Congo African Grey, and for the most part he is much more quiet than your average parrot, however we cringe on the 4th of July hoping he skips the bottle rocket sound, he does it so well! Thanks for the info Mark! Celticwraith, your Tie does resemble him!!! And poor Roger, he is 14 1/2 years old, don't think he'll be around much longer, . | |

| My girlfriends boss has an African gray and shes a very intelligent bird. Not only does she make the bottle rocket sound but she does a cartoon bomb droping, makes the sound of horse racing starting, says pretty bird, bad dog, sh*t no I'm ok and a lot more that I cant remember.
How did you sex your gray? | |

| Yea,he says a lot too,my favorite is LOCK-N-LOAD, play a lot of shoot 'em ups. I had electricians here working one day and they kept looking at their phones, after about an hour they asked if I had a bird, he does the nextell chirp to the tee! For some reason he really likes metal sounds, power tools, and water dripping.Oh yea, i also dread any cars going by w/ loose belts, but he hasn't done that in about a year now.If I have him positioned to where he can see me, he'll make all the sounds i make, before I make them while doing the morning coffee drill. Oh, I just assumed he's a boy seeing how she named him Bingo,I could be way off. That doesn't seem to matter too much to me, boy/girl names though, I have a female turtle named Leroy. | |
