I may be new around here folks but anyone who knows me from other forums will vouch that I do things a bit different . This years Christmas tree, never again will I decorate a Bird of paradise!!! Wire framing holding the lights around each of the eliminated leaves.
Enjoy

Don't think I'd decorate a bird of paradise, either. There'd be feathers everywhere! Very Happy

Nive twist on things, beats pullin' the tree outta the box and spendin' an afternoon settin' it up. We have a Santa very much like the one on the far right of the mantle. Looks like your tastes and mine/my wife' tastes in decorations run along the same lines.

We're only decorating a 4' tree this year. We have a dog that is just comin' up on a year and her curiousity gets her in trouble. Thinkin' the regular 9 footer would be too big a temptation for her.

I started the Christmas palm tree 3 years ago out of necessity. Every fall 6 better size palms come in to over winter . That does not leave much if not any room for a tree. After much discussion to get them out for the holidays. The better half came home from shopping one day and loved them.
Many beers a pair of reindeer antlers and thats what we get.
