Hi to all.

I really really really want a 55 gallon tank. I just need to so a great deal of begging and pleading with my husband. Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

6 clown loaches
3 plecs
1 upside down catfish
10 gal
4 juvvie anglefish
2 large apple snails
4 mystery snails

4 emerald cory catfish

Beg your bubby? surely not.. just feed him hot dogs and mac n cheese for a week, i'm sure he'll come around Wink

You may want to rethink the 55g thing for at least a 75g.....
I upgraded from a 29 to a 75 back in the day, and it was full in no time......

Hi there,
I am a newbie in aquariums, but am also a bio major with a speciality in Ichthyology. So I figured I had it handled, boy was I wrong! So many new things to learn that you NEVER have to consider in the field. I have a new 20gallon (about a month now) and I currently only have 2 panda cories, 3 glofish and 3 ghost shrimp. I just finished my cycle so I am slowly adding. I have a lightly planted tank (now that cycle is over I am going all out on the low light plants). I also have a 2.5g snail tank filled with snails that I plan to use for my masters thesis. I have always had at least one beta around the house for years, but this is my first foray into setting up an entire ecosystem. I knew experience counted for as much as education, but I didn't really.... if you know what I mean Very Happy . I already have MTS, but instead of buying another tank, in a few months I am gonna attempt to build my son a small one and go from there. I have this dream tank that I have been drawing for years, since no one else builds it for less than 3000 I am eventually gonna do it myself. Hope to get to know you all very well:)
