I love this fish..does anyone know what it is????

Also I am now wanting Pseudo. Flameback can anyone tell me about them???? Where are they from, temperment, can I get em LMAO!!

It is a Kyoga Flameback (Haplochromis sp. "All Red" (Lake Kyoga) It is actually a Lake Victoria Basin Cichlid. Gets about six inches.....herbivore, peaceful for a Cichlid....Not recommended to keep with Lake malawi species...They thrive in Very hard water 300ppm is common. Very colorful and vibrant.....mouthborader.

No the Pseudotropheus sp. "Flameback" is a Malawi Mbuna from Lake Malawi.

Oh, Paul I really like that fish (did you have one, I was thinking I saw one before?)...if I were to work it in my set up, I would have to give up one of the others though wouldn't I, I'll have to look again and figure out which I would replace them with, if I did it.

I have about 25 two females are holding and one just spit-out 9 fry's.they are from Lake Victoria very nice looking cichlid's.....
