Goldfish safe plants. Empty

Anyone know of any plants that are mostly goldfish proof?

I've got the giant tank with a single Arowana in it, and a few weeks back I took in a giant goldfish (regular old goldie just got 8 inches) that I was told we had to keep.

It's getting off quarantine soon, and the Aro has some plants in his tank already. I'd sort of not like them to get tore up by the goldie (I'm assuming they're in the same ball park of destruction Koi are) but I'd like to plant it up.

I don't mind if the goldie nibbles some, but I don't want to come down one day to stubs in pots either.

Water will be warm enough for the Aro and I can add light as necessary.

red tiger lotus. Its a pond plant that I've seen in goldfish ponds. I had one a few months back and they get big but all you have to do is trim off the lilypads. Oh yea send me a PM about the plants I have for you.
