anyone used these? Just picked one up (maxijet 400 for the under gravel filters) but haven't added it yet. Wondering what people think of them on freshwater tanks.

I haven't used 'em personally, I lean towards the Pondmaster brand pumps, but they seem decent. They get good reviews, and the one store by me uses them in a number of their salty tanks.

They don't look like they'd handle getting beat on by any bruisers (turtles, big cichlids) but otherwise you should be good to go. Smile

I use two of them, great product....the only problem I have had is they can be hard to re prime sometimes.
