| I picked up 9in Red Devil from the LFS today. The lady said it came in last week and she wanted to get rid of it. She sold it to me for $15.....a steal I thought so I took and brought it home.....so far it is playing nice. Here he is | |

| Nice Looking male! My LFS had one around that size and when ever I put my hand up to the glass he'd try to attack it. Where is it living now? | |

| I love 'em when they get that size. They follow you around and chase after your hand if it's in front of the tank. He looks really well taken care of too. | |

| Thanks guys....he was in very good shape...I am sure he will color up a bit more. He is a very active digger...the jag was not too fond of him so I switched some fish around today. I gave the 75g to him ands through my Firemouth in with him. The firemouth is very aggressive. the firemouth has plenty of places to retreat. Hoping it works out otherwise he will end up having the entire 75g which is fine with me. | |

| Well I ended up giving him the 75g to himself. He is a bastard though everytime we walk by he charges the glass...he has dug some plants up and when I put my hand in I get attacked....That is just the nature of the RD though...I love it! Ladies and Gentelmen that is why I love Cichlids.....lol He is already getting some nice coloration throughout the body. I have been feeding him Hikari , NLS and krill. I have also been giving him earthworms and shrimp a couple times in the last week, he is on a pretty varied diet. | |

| Well I had him in there for a day and they took over the tank....in fact the jag is still digging out the substrate from where the RD was digging. The would probabally of been fine if there was no other tankmates. | |

| LMAO.....mine use to chase my hand around the tank when I cleaned it!! Use to crack me up, although I had to watch out for the Pacu and the Oscar too when I did anything in that tank...OMG, they use to make me jump so much!! I would be watching the RD/Midases cause well they chased me and the next thing I knew BAM the oscar would get my arm from the other side, I'd jump and look at him when BOOM, the pacu would get me from the other side LMAO, they were a blast though!!!!!!!! | |
