| Looking for ideas by asking what others would do. If you had a spare 55g fish tank, what would you put in it? | |

| Well actually, I do have a spare 55. We'll be fixing it up for my daughter's fire belly toads. | |

| I know this is FWM but since I have 5 FW tanks...if I had a spare 55 it would become my first SW setup. | |

Wouldn't we have to change the name to Water Madness? As for me, my biggest EBJD (who I believe is a male), seems to have taken a shine to a particular Gold Phase female in their grow out tank, so I would probably move them into an extra 55 gal. Oh wait...That's what I'm planning on doing. Mark

| I thought we were gonna do Salties and Brackish here? Those Monos are eventually going full salt.
As for another 55. Depending on species, musk turtle or two, and some small pretty (but snackably cheap) fish. White clouds perhaps or some tiny barbs or something.

| Well, I do have a spare 55 with no definite plans. Actually, 2 or 3.
I'm off 'til next Monday. The wife wants her room done. I've been patient with finishin' other stuff down here at her urging when the initial project was the fish room. Got a little irritable, but that may be due to one too many snide "That's not how they do it on HGTV" comments. I've finished 1 1/2 basements and I don't care how they do it on HGTV. I told her I would have at least one tank in the room by Easter Sunday. End of discussion.
Anyways, may have to solicit some stocking ideas for tanks. Might have to start a thread and see what ideas people come up with. Might be fun to see what kinda wild ideas people come up with when it isn't THEIR tank they're stocking, LOL.
Hmmmmm.

| Good thing my father in law was a carpenter. My wife knows how they do it on HGTV (and those other shows) are retarded. I'd be down with playing the stock someone tank game. I don't really get to do that with my own very often. | |
