So last night i started to feed my fish and in one of my 10 gallon tanks that holds one of my yellow dragon bettas has a floating box to hold the female so the male can see her and show off and right now the floating box is empty but the male jumped into the box i was quite surprised i have heard of the females jumping but havent heard or seen any of my males to jump

Betta have long distance eye sight. They see small insects you and I can't and will jump to catch them. They will also jump to reach a mate. Sometimes they miss, and will end up dead on the floor.
