Hi all well I have a spare 10gal tank with a penguin 200 and a 50w heater. I was wondering what do you guys recommend to raise that would be benifical for my cichlids?

-guppies
-ghost shrimp
-crayfish

Guppies are easy...assuming you mean for food for your Cichlids.

Guppies or ghost shrimp make good snacks. I'd still feed 'em a pellet as a staple though.

Crayfish can get nasty. Maybe if there was a big enough puffer here I'd use 'em for food but otherwise, they make good bottom feeders in tanks with things much bigger than the crayfish.

1-So is it possible to buy some feeder ghost shrimp at stores and breed them? Like if I buy 20 or so.

2-Also for cryfish, is their a certain kind that breeds or is it all of them? And is it hard to breed them?

3-How long should I qt feeders before I feed them?
