Well, my dad decided to get back into fishes, or atleast get a Managuese. He wants to find a 100 at a good price, fix it up, and build his own stand. He loved his Managuese trio from years back and wants to have a single Managuese Male in it if he finds one at a good price. Has to be in southern MS, Southern AL, or Northwest FL. PLZ help.

This is where I got my 135, if you are wanting a new one. Very nice people and they deliver to certain states.

Or you could always try Craigslist. I have seen some pretty good deals there too. Might even get a complete set up pretty cheap.

You need to hawk craiglist pretty much daily. The random crap that comes in and goes insanely fast is amazing. We managed to snag a 150 a few years back for stupid cheap because the person who had it needed it out within a day or two.

I've got a 75 gallon tank but is currently running saltwater for sale on craigslist in pensacola just got a hang on back overflow not drilled so it could be freshwater. thats what i was running before went to saltwater . has tank, canopy and stand if want to do freshwater got all the set up used to have running 2 whisper 60's for filters, 75 gallon heater, about 60 lbs of gravel, air pump, bubble wand, about 6 or 8 big nice decerations for tank fake coral stuff like that pretty expensive stuff also have a 5ft ballast and bulbs. I might have some old pics of the freshwater setup if you would like also have breeder boxes. Probably more stuff then that have chemicals for it to. just let me know live in pensacola. I would sell everything for 150.00. thanks ryan
This a reply I got. Should I go for it? Looks good and could keep saltwater. 150 is cheap as I was offering $1 a gallon for anything 75g-125g plus depends stand, equip and any stock.
Also, Saint. How far would you go to rescue Pacus and SDs? Cauise in Theodore AL, some on has 2 6"-7" Pacus and 2 SD's the size of the palm of a hand, They want to get rid of from their 75.

Just the tinny tiniest bit out of my area, by say an 8 hour or so drive if not more. Wink

I'm sure they could find someone local at very least for the SDs. I don't know the temps, but AL may even be warm enough year round for the Pacu to have a pond outside.

No, we had frost this year so It stood no chance in a pond. Plus,. our winters do get about mid-40s in winter on somedays
Also, someone made a fish rescue thing called O.S.C.A.R so, they will try and snatch them up.

To answer your question about the 75 gallon. It doesn't sound like to bad a deal. Although I would wait and see pictures. If he has it set up to be a saltwater it will be a job trying to clean it up to be a freshwater. With all the accessaries he mentioned it is worth looking into. I wouldn't jump right on it because you may get an offer for another. And this is not the 100 you were wanting.
This is just my opinion though.

Yeah, I would wait till what you want comes around don't pounce on the first thing that comes along! It is a good deal though with all the equipment....This summer I sold my two 55g tanks for $150 each with stand, filters, tops and lights.
