doing new tank and wanted angels first of all will just bogwood keep the water soft so angel can live in it also how do i acidic for them and if i change the water will dechlonarated water work or will i have to soften it before introuducing it and if i have 1 angel will it work with hopefully two pairs of rams?

Angels and Rams can coexist as far as water as long as it isint too hard it should be fine. pH is just a general guide to judge the hardness of water...If your pH is lower than 7.8 you should be fine as long as you are not trying to keep wilds. I recommend not playing with water parameters too much as they will change slightly over time between cleanings, feeding and such. The fish will be much happier and you will have less stress in the long. I forget what size tank you have, of course tank size will impact what you can keep especially with Cichlids.

will i will be breeding the rams so the angel will be bought as small as possible at our local petco and live in a ten gallon aquarium till the ram babies are large enough to be moved and half to one ten gallon then the others to another ten gallon till sold then the angel goes to the 55 gallon breeding setup with the rams Very Happy

Oh ok I see that should work out just fine then...You could probably do a couple angels with the two pair of rams in the 55g.

with the angel right now i only want one and i forgot to tell you i will also keep a algae eater in there as long as it dosnt grow larger than six inches and with water will just bogwood work
