Been a while but I am back in the saddle again, we are all settled in the new house, kids are done with school for the summer, tank is set up and running quite well.

I will be posting pics, I am hosting them now but will do in a later post.

Rundown
new 75g, everything but the gravel came from my 52g so just a transfer, new cs102 overflow added to the tank, cs100 removed.

other new stuff

we moved to a new house, built 1891 next to the best block in america. My wife is modern, I am historic, I prefer something that was built by hand rather then built by a company to rot 10 years later, we found a nice 3 bedroom that mixed the styles, she got her modern decor, I got my old timer. I had a dilema however, did I really want to put 90g of water on 120 year old original redwood flooring.......Not a chance in hell, Put the pig downstairs just spent 20 bucks on sheathing insulation for the winter. two heaters on a controller, I think I am good.

Pics will follow today at some point.
210g stayed at my dad's house. It wasnt gonna fit thru the skinny people doorways of 120 years ago. My smartass wife bought me a can of crisco to fit thru the doorways.......

Cool, congrats on the new house, my condolences at having to move... Wink

For some reason, the crisco comment reminds me of the time my daughter, who was 8 at the time, out of the blue asked my wife when she was going to start Weightwatchers...tellin' ya, I headed for the hills instantly. Didn't wanna be anywhere around the little one at that particular instant!

New tank

75g aga
BBB substrate
t-12x4@40w/ea 6700K
DI water
aquapro 175
CPS CS102
MD 9.5
New stuff 11qr31e

New house
built 1891
original redwood flooring
200' deep lot
2.5 car garage
this house came equipped with two man caves
New stuff 300z14h
New stuff 24vr053
New stuff Svgdb7
and the 120 year old nearly immaculate flooring
New stuff 25zo5lu
Last pic is the reason my tanks are in the basement, that and 1891's tech just doesnt work with centralized weight, my joists run with the ridge of the house not against it. I MIGHT be able to do a SMALL NPT tank in m front 3 season room.

Thanks, Yeah I grew up in the furtherst most southwestern point in the lower 48, You can really see the need of different materials in the different zones. I am upset I need to rip the ceilings in the kitchen, dining room and living room out and take them up another 2' to their original 10' height. I need to get some structural folks in here to remove the floor joists and lay them in the correct way and level out the house. Its hard enough walking drunk but try it in a house thats center is 4" lower then its outer walls. Its kinda like a fun house with much more danger factor involved. If I break it when I fall, the wife gonna break me lol.

So now you see my excuse for being MIA for a while now. I touch base on the forums ive been on for years now due to them being in my phone, I tired this site but the data is too much for the junk 3g I had.
Just picked up a new 55g today for 10 bucks off a neighbors porch, came with some nice new edge pebbles of bright blue, cant wait till the wife see's my macgyverism on the edging, yeah yeah ill be cleaning it all up soon enough.

Ok, guessing game, guess the age of the blue spruce in pic 3.

Ive culled the inside of it from dead timber and it has a 16" trunk on it, bottom diameter is about 18-20' with foliage.
