| Picked up one of these today as well as the Cichlids. Labeled as a Leaf Fish although not really a leaf fish, although a predator. I plan to go back and get two more but I needed to make the room first. Currently I have it in with my Angels and Rams, hopefully just for a few days. Here is a pic, will get more later. | |

| Great fish .. Have 2 myself. I keep them in a 75 gallon with 2 Bichirs. I also have 3 Western Australian Rainbows and 2 clown loaches that are in there but I'm thinking of trading in. They are a 6 inch and 4 inch.
I want to find a live bearer that can live with them without being eaten or aggressive and let the fry be a snack.

Guppies are to small, they'd be eaten before they could breed. MC, they get along fine and can usually be found near one another. Every once in a while you will see them nip at each other but not cause any damage.

I suggest you use mollies or platties. Yes these perches seem to be peacuful like there datniod cousins. So yes they can live with each other.

| Am actually considering mollies since they are a thicker bodied fish. | |

| Unless you prefer mollies, I've always been partial to sword-tails. Haven't had them in years, but I've had the tangerine, brick, or even the cheapie green ones. I liked them. | |

| Since I don't want to dedicate a tank to any new fish I need to make sure they are big enough at adult size to not be eaten. I had Swords as a kid before I knew better, they were okay. Many more variations now. I'll have to check around for adult size and availability. I think Mollies are more deep bodied then Swords though. | |

| The sailfin mollies will get quite a bit bigger than the swordtails at full adult size.
6-7 inches for the mollies as opposed to 4 for the swordtails.
