Beautiful. That's a species I've been researching lately. Don't want to end up with 40 tanks full of mbuna and fry this go 'round, guess I've grown outta that phase. Want to maintain a bit more variety and keep my mbuna to a coupla tanks or so.

Do ya keep him with anything? I keep coming across different accounts of how aggressive the species is.

I currently have it in with Angels and Rams in the 29g. This will be a temp. home for him I want to do a species tank with these guys.

how are they doin? my brother had one of these and his never killed any of it's fish he had a gourami, killifish, a farrowalla and a redtail/shoverlnose hybrid that eneded eating everyone

I have been trying to get some update pics...He is very fast though cruises around the tank all day. For a predator he is very peaceful and all the tank mates play well. He eats like a pig though.
