How long have you had her? And does she look swollen? I've had several do that for a few days and worry me but they would pull through. I would up water changes and just keep watch on her.

Also make sure sense he/she is now in the ten gallon there is not too much current....could stress her more. Besides the above questions how is the water quality?

Glad to hear it. You might consider giving her some shelled green peas just in case she might be a little bloated. It doesn't hurt the fish. I do it to mine once a week because they are such little pigs. Just nuke the peas first, shell it and though it in.

I use frozen peas but I don't see the harm in canned peas, just would hate for you to open a whole can just to get a few. I guess you could freeze the remainder and use as needed.
(In case you didn't know the peas help with constipation.)

If you use canned peas be sure to get unsalted.

Heat some water in the microwave and drop the peas in for five or ten minutes.

They can all eat it. It won't hurt them. It will just make them poo. If the males are acting fine I wouldn't worry about giving them the peas.

No I just have a betta sorority. I just enjoy them. But, I only feed mine once a day. Maybe that's why I think they are such piggys.lol

Whew, I just don't have the patience!!!lol I have raised angels from eggs and through a lot of tears and heartache I have four babies(that are full grown now) out of hundreds. I just don't think I could take it.

You should start a thread on how to breed bettas though. You might help someone who wants to learn.
