thanks, sadly I lost my camera. I had it at school and noticed a gash in my bookbag after I was looking for my camera.

It fell out, I always have my bookbag with me. Its just a little athletic bag, just got a tear in it from wearing it everywhere

Bummer.

Be sure to keep an eye on the sliders. They're wee, but if they're in the mood they may nom on the fins of the HRPs.

I found him, and hes alive. Well my friend did. He was under dresser, for 3 days and hes still kicking, no harm, hes eating and everything. They will occasionally nip the HRPs but the HRPs nip back making them leave.

Cool, just watch the sliders, I got one in a 40B by herself with a few 4" comets in it, I cleaned her tank two days ago and she bit the back of what would be the neck of the large comet right out, ate the chunk and left it to float, she managed to kill off 4 comets that day only eating the initial bite.

Shes about 7" in diameter but never ate these 6-7 month old comets before.

Just my .02 with sliders and other fish.

Me personally, I love it , it looks alot more natural to have other creatures in the tank then just fish, you know.

Yea. I like keeping fish in with the less aggressive aquatic turtles. They usually help with missed food and stuff, but I'd never put in fish I'd be upset losing with them.

I've kept comets and convicts in with the sliders and they've both eventually gotten eaten.

I've found the more aggressive the fish, the higher chance there would be problems. I had to put a big male red devil in the slider tank for a short while (the rd tank had a small leak) and he went to pick on this 14 inch female, and you could just see the "Oh no you didn't" look on the slider's face. These sliders make alot of different faces lol. Mine thinks its a bird, it climbs up on a chunk of shale and sticks both front and rear legs out like wings and passes out for hours.
