| I know it's nothing like Mike's pic but here's my cleanup crew in the 20L fry tank. It's a common ramshorn. I only keep one because where there's two there will eventually be hundreds...lol.  | |

| Cool! I think this summer I'm going to see if I can pick up some local snails and put them in a tank of there own. the ones I have seen are half dollar size. | |

| Those snails are SWEET! Now those would convince me to move snails outta the realm of puffer food!
What are they Chevelle 67? The brown ones with the stripes? And are the yellow-striped things that look kinda like gourds snails too? Or are they tank decorations? Not bein' a smartass, honest, I've kept fish for 25 years but never payed snails any attention. Those are impressive!

| The purple are the bridgesi (brigs)...also sometimes refered to as apple snails. Because when full grown some are known to be the size of an apple. | |

| The purple apple has grown quite a bit since that pic,I'll have to get an updated one on.The zebra nerites are saltwater,but can be acclimated to fresh water.They are the best algae eaters I have found.They will not breed in fresh water,which is good,because you can keep more than one of them without having to worry about them taking over your tank. | |
